MAPRIMERENOV ‘will resume your financing for global renovations. According to information obtained by AFP, the request for help for the renewal of general energy will open again on September 30, after a summer suspension. However, the perimeter must be reduced, with a maximum of 13,000 new files accepted by the end of the year.
There are currently 61,000 requests to help global renovations that will be studied, in addition to the 35,000 subsidies already granted since the beginning of the year. The archives that will not enter the 2025 budget envelope will be attributed to the 2026 budget, “subject to the vote of the Finance Law”, including the new requests that will be submitted between September and December.
At first, only very modest households can request a subsidy, said the Ministry, which will expand “perhaps” the counter to modest homes “according to the dynamics of the new files.” The Ministry does not exclude the system again if the quota of 13,000 files is exceeded before the end of the year.
Modified concession rules
Maprimérenov ‘experienced a “huge emotion” of the number of files presented in June, according to the Ministry, which expects the objectives established by 2025 to be exceeded, as well as the general budget for the expected energy renewal of 3.6 billion. Therefore, the State will harden the conditions to grant subsidy to “allow the financing of a greater number of projects”, in “a context of greater budgetary restriction.”
The work ceiling, in which the percentage of subsidy is calculated, is reduced from 70,000 euros to 30,000 euros for renovations that allow to gain two kinds of energy already 40,000 for the jumps of three classes to the diagnosis of energy performance (DPE).
The Mapimerenov help will be reserved for accommodation rather than consume energy (note e, F o g al DPE). The subsidy bonus is eliminated in case of a category of energy layer (note f or g).
These criteria will be applied as of September 2025 and will be maintained in 2026, even if the subsidy quota that will be granted annually and the opening of the counter to households with intermediate and higher income remains “open to the discussion” within the framework of the 2026 budget, the ministry reported.
Regarding fraud, which was one of the reasons for the suspension of the counterpart deposit window between June and September, the State detected 5,000 proven cases of fraud in requests for help from MapimeRerenov for global renovations and will reject these files. The Government had indicated in June that 16,000 fraud files were suspected, which, for an average amount of 40,000 euros at work, could have represented between 500 and 600 million euros fraudulate.
