A commercial agreement between the European Union and the United States that would balance the confrontation of customs duties is “at hand,” a spokesman for the European Commission said Thursday.
Therefore, the EU and the United States seem to conclude a commercial agreement that would impose customs duties of 15% to European products, on the model of the agreement found with Japan.
This would remain bad news for Europeans. A few weeks ago, Brussels hoped to get a deal more favorable than that found by the United Kingdomwith customs tasks of 10% in most products.
