The Pagaille continues at the stations: several trains retired on Tuesday morning between Paris and El Norte

Several TGVs were eliminated this Tuesday, August 5, between Paris and the North, the day after an electrical failure.

The traffic is still interrupted, this Tuesday, August 5, in the high -speed line between Paris and the North. Several TGVs have been eliminated and those that circulate do so mostly with delay, reports SNCF travelers.

Despite the work done at night to repair an electrical incident that occurred in Val-d’oise on Monday, most trains between Paris and Lille are eliminated or circulated with Tuesday morning.

“Desections and delays are planned until the middle of the morning,” SNCF travelers said to Figaro.

Cancellations and delays

Nine trains were removed at the exit or when they arrived at the Lille Europe station this morning. Delays are currently between 5 and 45 minutes in most trains that circulate, much less than yesterday, where certain passengers had to wait several hours to reach the destination.

On Monday, traffic was interrupted very strongly due to an electrical failure due to “a catenary problem,” according to SNCF Réseau. A derivation route had been established, then the traffic had been able to resume on a single early track at night.

Travelers whose train route are canceled can request to be reimbursed or exchange their ticket.
