Based on the observation that young graduates do not have the necessary tools to integrate as soon as they enter the professional world, Mathieu Sbai imagined and conceptualized the Village de l’Emploi (VDE). This is a free program that offers innovative courses based on practice, the transmission of knowledge and the study of concrete cases. The objective is to facilitate access to employment for young graduates and streamline their relations with employers. “This will allow the young graduate to integrate from the beginning of his professional life in a consolidated team and not as a beginner. Therefore, he will be able to claim a higher salary. explains Mathieu Sbai.
Since its creation, the VDE has generated more than 6,000 jobs, mainly in the field of Information Systems. This course is free for young graduates and is fully funded by IT companies who will thus see their new talents committed for a minimum of three years within their structure. A true career accelerator that tends to become more and more widespread in the future.
Obtain your baccalaureate between the ages of 12 and 14 with the Aleph method
Always with this desire to optimize the learning period and better understand the fundamentals of training, Mathieu Sbai also participated in the launch, in 2006, of the Aleph method. It is aimed at the youngest and part of another finding, that the time dedicated to studying is usually too long and is made up of redundancies. This concept is based on the intelligence and knowledge of certain groups from an early age, respecting the child’s learning pace. The Aleph method has already allowed four adolescents to obtain their baccalaureate from the age of 12. “Since we are in a small sample of people, the learning takes place directly within the families that volunteer,” specifies Mathieu Sbai.
If the Employment Village has already proven its effectiveness and now tends to spread to other sectors of activity, the Aleph method should be further developed in the future. His co-author hopes to count up to 1,000 young graduates for the method to be recognized. A true revolution in education, these two innovative concepts offer a real alternative to the educational system while promoting the employability of young talents.
