The incident could have caused a much more serious interruption at Manchester airport. On Friday morning at 6:30 am, two aircraft of the Easyjet low cost saw that their wings played while they were heading to the track to take off: one was destined for Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle, while the other took the direction of Gibraltar.
No one injured should be deplored, but Mancunian airport briefly suspended their flights to evaluate “if the planes could return to their position, what they could do” according to a spokesman for the site that specifies that “the operations resumed after a few minutes.”
The airline reacted quickly by apologizing for customers for the delay on their flights and remembering that the safety of their passengers and its crew is their “absolute priority.” Easyjet also announced the launch of immediate investigation to shed light on the incident that, however, did not cause significant delays at the Manchester airport exit table.

This intervention collision only two weeks after a technical problem disturbed more than 120 flights in the United Kingdom. The London airports of Heathrow and Gatwick, as well as those of Edinburgh, had been affected, the first was the most frequented air center in Europe. According to Cirium, data supplier for aeronautics, more than 67 exits and 55 arrivals had been canceled, while a certain number of flights had also been confused.
On this occasion, the director of Operations of Easyjet David Morgan had declared that it was “extremely disappointing” to see again a breakdown “disturb our clients during this period of the year so important and charged for traveling.”
More than 20 years ago, the third largest airport in the United Kingdom had already been the scene of a collision in the field between two Boeing, there also before its takeoff. An Excel Airways plane, which transported 255 passengers, had arrived from Gatwick London airport, and had to go to Goa, India, while the other plane of the old low -cost Bmibaby company, on board, which was 79 passengers, had to detach themselves towards Belfast, Northern Ireland.
