The European Space Agency (ESA) adopted this Wednesday a budget of 17,000 million euros for the next three years, a sharp increase but below the 18,500 million requested by its director general, announced the French Minister of Economy, Bruno Le Maire.
At the end of tough negotiations, the 22 Member States, meeting for two days in Paris, decided on an endowment of more than 17% compared to the last three years. This contribution is intended to finance space exploration, Earth observation and launcher programs.
