SCAF future pending
Emmanuel Macron and Friedrich Merz agreed to decide the future of their collaboration in the Fighting of the Future (SCAF) project for the end of the year, German Foreign Minister said Wednesday.

A source in the defense industry told Reuters last month that France had informed Germany that wanted to obtain around 80% in the project.
The SCAF project, whose cost is estimated at more than 100 billion euros, has experienced delays and is a victim of intestine disputes in the exchange of tasks and intellectual property rights between France and Germany, as well as among their respective national industries.
There is no confirmation in the Indian order
When asked about the issue of Rafale’s sales to India, Éric Trappier did not confirm the existence of a new contract. According to the Tribune, New Delhi asked Dassault Aviation to evaluate the amount of a contract for a possible order that ranges between 40 and 114 additional airplanes.
“We know that we have registered in the long term, we expect power in the coming months and sell more explosions in India,” Éric Trappier continued.
