“I decided to give up my duties as Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Housing (…), as well as the position of vice president of the Labor Party,” wrote the elected official in an exchange of letters with Prime Minister Keir Starmer after several days of controversy.
This figure in the left wing of the work, 45, said that “the depth decision (SA) has not sought additional specialized tax advice”, and assumes “the total responsibility of this error”, linked to the purchase of an apartment.
An independent report by the Government Ethics Advisor, to which he had reported his situation, concluded this Friday that he had “violated the code” of ministerial conduct.

He would have saved 40,000 pounds of pounds sterling (46,050 euros) of taxes linked to the acquisition of this accommodation, by eliminating his name from the titles owned by another property of ownership located in his constituency. Consequently, the new apartment was officially its only property. In his letter accepting his resignation, Keir Starmer, “very sad,” told Angela Rayner that he would continue to be “an important figure” of the Labor Party, in surveys difficulties for a year only after his arrival to power.
Often attacked by the conservative media, Angela Rayner left school without a diploma and, at age 16, became a single mother. He discovered trade unionism and then politics after working in social, and uploaded the staircase until it became number two of the party.
