France flies in Help of Denmark. The Ministry of the Armed Forces announces on Monday that has temporarily deployed a team composed of 35 people, a fennec helicopter and “active means in the anti -drug fight”, while the country faces theft of suspicious drones over its military facilities.
The Anti-Drone control equipment that will be implemented in this context has not been detailed. French aid occurs when Denmark welcomed an informal summit about the leaders of the European Union on Wednesday, then on Thursday a meeting of the European political community that is expected to attract around fifty delegations, including the bosses and representatives of NATO.
The Swedish prime minister, Ulf Kristersson, also said on Monday that his country would support Denmark by providing him with anti-Drone military capabilities, such as the UAS systems. He added to the social network X that Sweden had sent separately on Sunday “a handful” of radar systems in Denmark.
Drone’s incursions into the Danish airspace forced Denmark to close several airports last week, including Copenhagen. Denmark ordered the prohibition of civil flights of drones on Sunday, after drones were observed in several military facilities during the night.
An “anti-comedy wall”
On Friday, ten European nations spoke with the European Defense Commissioner Andrius Kubilius the possibility of implementing an “anti-Drone wall”, to strengthen aerial defenses against the outsthes of drones assigned to Russia. This concept of “Anti-Drone wall” goes through various media, complementary to each other: detection radars, tracers for career monitoring, Jammers to confuse them collide with the ground, cannons, drones, even missiles for destruction in flight …
In this sense, the experience of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is essential, the country has also been invited to participate in the videoconference meeting with the European commissioner.
