The Pernod Ricard spirits group saw its turnover decrease by 14.3% in the first quarter of its postponed 2025/26 financial year, due in particular to inventory adjustments in the United States and weak demand in China.
Its sales, also affected by a negative currency effect, amounted to €2.38 billion and fell 7.6% organically (excluding currency and scope effects). But the French alcohol giant foresees “an improvement in organic turnover trends” starting in the second half of the year.
