An eventful flight. This Thursday morning, passengers on the Transavia Paris Orly-Perpignan flight normally board a trip that is expected to last just over two hours. But as it approaches its destination, the low-cost airline’s plane is caught by the violent winds of Storm Benjamin passing through France. The pilots then decide to divert and end up landing in Barcelona, as they explain.
Almost 200 kilometers by bus
The Catalan city is still almost 200 kilometers from Perpignan. For this reason, a coach transfer was organized with two buses that arrived at 4:00 p.m. and 16:15 respectively to pick up passengers, as Transavia told BFM Business.
