After a massive crisis of the chefs de bord (the controllers) and the cancellation of 60% of the TGV and Intercités on the week-end, the SNCF prepares itself for a new mercurial mobilization day, an annual negotiating day obligatoires for the salaries.
All public group staff are called to stop work by CGT-Cheminots, SUD-Rail and CFDT-Cheminots, in order to influence these mandatory annual negotiations.
This Monday night, the SNCF indicates that the circulation of trains will experience “some local disturbances”.
Some TGV cancellations
Outages in particular are expected:
- in TER: in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Grand Est, Occitanie and Sud regions
- in Transilien: on lines C, D, E and N in Ile-de-France.
Passengers are invited to consult their usual information tools to check the circulation of their trains, the day before from 5:00 p.m.
“Some TGV or Intercités traffic may also suffer cancellations, in particular on the TGV Paris – Lyon axis due to a local social movement of the SNCF Réseau changers, as well as the TGV south of Bordeaux”, continues the operator.
Interested customers will receive information by email or text message in case of cancellation of their train. Travelers whose train is canceled may benefit from a 100% refund of the price of their ticket before departure, or a free change on all trains where there are seats.
