Compagnie des Alpes, world leader in the exploitation of ski areas and owner of leisure parks, has announced this Thursday 200 million euros in investments until 2026 for the replacement of ski lifts, an order that will be made to the French company Poma.
Specifically, the company plans to replace seven mechanical lifts with more modern infrastructures “that combine technological innovation, comfort for visitors, employee safety and energy optimization”, details the Compagnie des Alpes press release.

Poma, the French leader in the construction of mechanical lifts, was chosen by Compagnie des Alpes to supply these structures, a “strong choice in favor of ‘Made in France’, and in particular ‘Made In Alpes'”, says the Company of the Alps.
The endowment of 200 million euros is calculated according to catalog prices and before commercial negotiations, the company specifies.

In its staggered 2021-2022 fiscal year, the company recorded a net profit of 114.4 million euros, 83.9% more than the previous year, and revenue grew 17.8% to 958.5 million euro.
