The number of job seekers registered in category A (without activity) fell by 2.1% in November compared to October, with 65,800 fewer unemployed up to 3,026 million, according to figures from the Ministry of Labor published this Tuesday.
Including the reduced activity (categories B and C), the number of job seekers in France (excluding Mayotte) only decreased by 0.4% (-19,400) and stood at 5,394 million, according to the statistics service of the Ministry of Labor (Give) .
3.02 million people registered in category A
Over a year, the drop in category A is 9.8%. For categories A, B and C it is 5.3%.
Dares does not comment on the monthly data, which is too volatile and favors quarterly changes.
The latest quarterly results published at the end of October show stability in the third quarter compared to the second, at 3,164 million subscribers (-1,700).
Stability was identical, including reduced activity (Pôle Emploi categories B and C) at 5.436 million (-1000 people).
