Super U recalls bags of compote for children due to the presence of patulin

A batch of children’s compote bags sold in U stores is being recalled due to the presence of a mycotoxin above regulatory limits.

A batch of children’s compotes from the brand “Mat & Lou” (private brand of U stores) is subject to recall due to the presence of a mycotoxin, patulin, beyond regulatory limits, warns the Conso Reminder site.

These are bags of sugar-free apple-strawberry and apple-apricot compote that are sold in boxes of six 90-gram bags. This is batch L8937, whose barcode is 3256225042470 and the expiration date is set for October 1, 2023. This product has been sold in U stores (Super U, Hyper U, U Express, etc.) in all France.
