An agreement was reached between the health insurance and the biologists after a confrontation backed by a long strike by laboratories. A press release announced the signing of amendment 11 to the national agreement that orders the relations between the directors of private medical analysis laboratories and the Health Insurance.
This agreement was signed between the National Union of Health Insurance Funds (Uncam) and the Union of Biologists, the Union of Clinical Biology Laboratories, the National Union of Biologists and the “Biologists” Union.
This agreement also provides for the implementation of a “concerted work with the profession for the construction of a multiannual framework for the management of spending in medical biology for the years 2024 to 2026”.
“This framework should make it possible to pursue several objectives: maintain high levels of support for current biology, including at the service of prevention policies, continue to support tests related to COVID 19, ensure the diffusion of innovation and participate in the regulation of health insurance expenses”.
