Savoye is a French company specializing in the supply chain, and more specifically in the automation of logistics warehouses, either through equipment that allows automatic order preparation, or through software solutions to control a warehouse.

The company, which currently has 900 employees, is experiencing strong international growth, and more specifically through three large geographical areas: Europe & the Middle East (EME), North America with the United States in particular, and Asia with China. on the one hand. and Southeast Asia on the other.

Savoye develops a very wide range of products, adapted to the needs of the different players, whether they are small SMEs or very large international groups.

What are the added values that allow you to differentiate yourself from the competition today?

The Savoye company is today known and recognized for being a company focused on its clients, with a strong commitment and a great capacity for adaptability. We develop off-the-shelf solutions, but our strength lies in the ability to make them ultra-customized and tailor-made to meet a customer’s specific supply chain needs. This close relationship allows us to identify their different expectations.

Their site says: “Tomorrow’s supply chain is being invented today.” Can you tell us more about your relationship with innovation within your company?

Our “Innovation” division collaborates throughout the year with important laboratories and various universities, in order to incubate new technologies.

To carry out these various Research and Development jobs, we rely today on our thirty-five years of experience in the field; a high level of know-how that allows us to understand quite quickly what is most important to our customers in relation to their new needs.

Going back to this close bond that we develop with our customers: we regularly include them in this innovation work, so that they can quickly test our new products and give us feedback.

What are the main problems and challenges your company is currently facing?

In terms of innovation, there is a real challenge around data, which is a real gold mine and the raw material of tomorrow.

The proper use of this data allows you to optimize and improve performance, doing more with the same amount. We will be able to anticipate and calculate in advance the different orders to be processed, in order to increase the productivity of a supply chain. This is a true performance lever!

The way in which the robots are piloted and the way in which the teams integrate with each other truly represent the main challenge of tomorrow; that is why Savoye invests a lot of time and money in this specific field.

Savoye also stands out for its work in terms of logistical sobriety. Can you tell us more?

For ten years, Savoye has implemented R&D development processes related to eco-design, either by reducing the number of parts or by choosing very specific materials.

All our products are ecologically designed, and now we go much further by integrating this notion of sobriety directly into the riding. Indeed, energy sobriety is possible thanks to the optimization of facility management.
