The Minister of Labor stressed that this index was going to be created in accordance with the exchanges between the government and the social partners.

But the problem of employment for the elderly will not only be addressed within the pension reform, according to Olivier Dussopt. He announced that he will present, next March and April, a bill so that this resumption of work is interesting for both companies and the elderly.

In other words, the minister hopes that seniors, accustomed to high salaries thanks to the seniority acquired in their previous companies, will accept “slightly lower” salaries to be, at the same time, “compensated and compensated” through aid.
