Pension reform: the CGT Cheminots and SUD-Rail are considering a renewable strike “starting in mid-February”

The two union organizations are projected in the post January 31 with two mentioned ways: two consecutive days of strike on January 7 and 8 and a extendable strike from mid-February.

The CGT Cheminots and SUD-Rail proposed on Tuesday a renewable strike “from mid-February” in the SCNF if the Government does not withdraw its pension reform project.

In a joint brochure, the organizations, respectively the first and third union of the SNCF and which account for more than 50% of the votes in the last professional elections, first called “two consecutive days of strike on February 7 and 8” and then “all other sectors” to unite, in order to “raise the balance of power.”
