Support industry professionals
EMCC France is a professional federation that currently has more than 3,250 members, including, in particular, professional coaches, coach mentors, coach supervisors, for whom these professions constitute the main or complementary activity. To carry out this activity, EMCC France is based on the values of professionalism, openness and solidarity, with the implementation of an ethical framework for solidarity coaching.
Attentive to the changes in the world around it, the association organizes various events for its members, but also for all the actors in the professions they practice, either through conferences and meetings, to question the great changes in society together to experts and/or prestigious speakers.
Regulation of coaching professions
Placing deontology and ethics at the center of its activity, the EMCC has signed (at an international level) with the European Union a charter that regulates the professions of coaching, supervision and mentoring. This letter has three parts that describe the skills frameworks, the code of ethics and the methods to regulate these professions in case of abuse or litigation.
“Due to the supervision obligation and thanks to this letter signed with the EU, coaching professions can now be better regulated. This makes it possible to offer economic actors real guarantees of seriousness, since their professional coach is a member of one of the signatory federations of this self-regulation letter”, explains on this subject Florence Soustre-Gasser, president of EMCC France since March 2021, who adds: “Companies should also always verify that the professional trainers they employ are members of a federation and are regularly supervised.”.
By turning to a support professional who is part of a recognized federation such as EMCC France, clients now have real guarantees as to the seriousness and professionalism of the person. Each company will then be able to rely on the deontological and ethical commitments of the letter in the event of a dispute with a signing professional.
