Currently, it serves Beijing once a week, Shanghai twice, then three times from February 3, and Hong Kong three times.
“From July 1, 2023, Air France will offer a daily flight from Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle to each of these destinations,” he promised, while warning that “this flight program is likely to evolve from accordance with travel restrictions and government authorizations’.
Given the border closures, lifted only at the beginning of the month, passenger air traffic between China and third countries was only growing by the end of 2022 at 5% of its pre-crisis levels, according to the International Air Transport Association (Iata). . ).
