Be careful, if you have these compotes at home, do not eat them. A batch of compotes of the “Douceur du Verger” brand, the reference brand of the Leclerc brands, is being withdrawn due to the presence of a mycotoxin, patulin, beyond the regulatory limits, warns the Conso Reminder site.
Super U worried about another brand
These compotes were marketed from January 12 to 20, 2023, with the barcode 3564700416037. “Only the products that carry the additional code 10 after the barcode are affected by the recall,” says Rappel Conso.
Consumers who own this product are invited not to consume it and return it to the point of sale, as well as to contact the point of sale or customer service (0800865286) for a refund.
This is not the first time such an advisory has been issued for compotes this month. Super U has been recalling bags of children’s compote since January due to the presence of patulin.
