In the middle of the school vacation period, with the exception of Île-de-France and Occitanie, the mobilization is expected to decrease this Thursday, February 16. The unions organize a fifth day of demonstrations against the pension reform, on the eve of the end of the examination of the bill in the National Assembly.
The first four days of action brought together between 757,000 and 1.27 million people, according to authorities. And between 2 and 2.8 million, according to the unions. This time, intelligence expects 450,000 to 650,000 protesters across the country, including 40,000 to 70,000 in Paris.

The unions are now reserved especially for March 7, the date of the start of the examination of the pension reform in the Senate: they are already called to “paralyze France” if the Government does not withdraw its project by then.
