The supermarket apologizes

In response to the controversy, the supermarket apologized and vowed to “never repeat this mistake.” “Our store did not respect the tide policy of the E.Leclerc brand,” the store declared on its Facebook page, specifying that the brand had “since 2017 a list of prohibited species in marketing”, a list to which the dyer .

This is not the first time that a supermarket has been caught selling sharks. In 2020, two Intermarché stores were highlighted for the same reason.
