Unions meet on Tuesday to discuss the continuation of the social movement

The inter-union announced that it will meet on Tuesday, February 21 at the CGT premises to discuss the continuation of the mobilization against the pension reform.

The eight main French unions and youth organizations will meet again on Tuesday as their next big day of mobilization against pension reform is scheduled for March 7, according to a press release.

During this assembly, the inter-union union -which brings together the CFDT, CFE-CGC, CGT, CFTC, FO, FSU, Solidaires and Unsa- will discuss the possible actions that they will implement during the school holidays but also for March 7 and the following weeks, the CGT told us. The meeting will take place in the premises of the CGT, in Montreuil.

Rekindle the movement after the holidays

The last big day of demonstrations, Thursday, February 16, gave signs of weakening compared to the previous ones and the unions hope to revive and harden the movement once the holidays are over with a slogan: “paralyze France”.

The debates on the text of the reform ended in the Assembly last Friday without the deputies having been able to consider the entire project. Now it’s up to the Senate to study the text.
