It is difficult to know if the call will be followed up, in a sector where the professional elections of May 2022 had had a very uneven success with the 120,000 workers called to express themselves, with only 1.83% participation among distributors and 3.91% in hybrid bicycles The “classic” unions had also been relegated to the background, the CGT (27.28%) only occupied the 2nd position among the distributors, behind the National Federation of Auto-entrepreneurs and Micro-entrepreneurs (FNAE, 28.45%). %).

In mid-February, the eight main French unions declared their willingness to “paralyze France in all sectors on March 7” if the Government and Parliament “remain deaf” to the mobilization against the pension reform. The RATP unions have already called for a renewable movement from this date, as well as the CGT-Cheminots, the first union of the SNCF. The garbage collectors are also called by their CGT federation to go on a renewable strike starting on March 7.
