Strike: airlines are called to reduce their flights from Paris on March 7 and 8

While the unions intend to “stop France” from March 7, the airlines that operate at the two Paris airports are called to cancel flights.

The French Civil Aviation General Directorate on Thursday asked airlines to cancel part of their flights on March 7 and 8 following a nationwide strike notice, broadcast by several air traffic controllers unions.

The management foresees “disruptions and delays” and asked the companies to reduce their flight schedule by 20% in Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle and 30% in Paris-Orly, Beauvais, Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Marseille , Montpellier, Nice and Toulouse.
