The new three-day “fuel at cost” system represents a 5 to 6 cents per liter effort for Leclerc. For the retail brand, it is a measure in response to the cap of 1.99 euros per liter of fuel established by TotalEnergies until the end of the year.
The president of the strategic committee of the E.Leclerc centers also indicated that he would reproduce this operation but that he was not in a position to establish it in the long term: “Total is an oil producer, I do not produce oil and I cannot guarantee today that it will I will buy in good condition in 15 days.
