Pensions: Gabriel Attal believes that “it is the French who will be blocked” by the March 7 strike

Questioned during his visit to the Salon de l’Agriculture, the Delegate Minister of Public Accounts once again called on the unions to “be responsible” a few days after the national strike on March 7.

“France paralyzed”, renewable strikes: the next few days will probably be difficult for the French with the sixth day of mobilization of the unions on Tuesday March 7 against the pension reform.

Questioned during his visit to the Salon de l’Agriculture, the Delegate Minister for Public Accounts once again called on the unions to “be responsible”.

“It is the workers who are going to be brought to their knees”

“When I hear some who say they want to bring the economy to its knees, it is the workers who are going to bring it to its knees. Those who provide in general are those who work. The French who have to take the metro, their cars to go to work. Administrative workers, in general, can telework”, continues the minister.

And remember that “there were 12 million retirement pensions to be paid each month in the 2000s, there will be 20 million in the coming years, it is almost a doubling in a generation. No country can absorb such a blow without reforming the pension system. Every country has done it.”
