Pension reform: Unef expects “more and more young people” for the mobilization of March 7

Although the mobilization promises to be massive this Tuesday, March 7, against the pension reform, young people must participate “increasingly” in the protest movement, according to Unef.

Imane Ouelhadj, president of the Unef student union “hopes that more and more young people will mobilize” in the days of strike announced against the pension reform. “From the beginning, a lot of young people participated in the demonstrations and it is growing every day,” she told BFMTV on Saturday night.

“You will win”

And to continue: “This week is likely to be quite important in the mobilization of young people with various appointments: on March 7 we mobilized with the inter-union, on the 8th, for the international day of women’s rights, on the 9th, young people people are mobilizing against the pension reform, for a fairer scholarship reform and against Parcoursup, and finally on the 10th, we will be in the streets to face the government’s climate inaction”, lists Imane Ouelhadj.

“Block everything you can” on March 7, rebel leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon urged Friday night in front of students in Paris. “It is extraordinary what is going to happen from the 7th”, launched the rebel tribune calling for a “massive meeting”. “When secondary schools and universities are on lockdown, there is a seesaw. You will win,” added Louis Boyard MP.
