Where is the digitization of the real estate sector?
It is more advanced than is generally believed. All the players in the sector now have a website that they use as their own tool, something that did not happen fifteen years ago. For this tool, DP Software has developed, among other things, customer areas. This allows you to securely retrieve all documents (calls, co-ownership regulations, etc.) without the need to send them by post. We could multiply the examples, such as online payment systems, the growing adoption of ERP, which underline the extent to which the digitization of the sector has advanced both by property managers, shareholders and legal experts. Our subsidiary Tissot clearly illustrates this.
Precisely, the DP Software group is made up of 6 subsidiaries. Which activity is likely to experience the greatest growth?
Three companies (H2i, Krier, Rodacom) focus on software publishing. For the latter, the rate of growth continues to be sustained. As for our web agencies (on the one hand Rodacom, Entidades, Webgenery), this is the division that contains the most significant growth margins. These are, in fact, small companies that we are going to grow in our group. Finally, the last stage of our system is made up of Tissot in the field of legal expertise; area that will continue to be digitized. Our global strategy is totally guided by the needs of the client for whom we seek the greatest response capacity.
What about the exploitation of data enabled by digital tools?
This is a fundamental issue to optimize routes, without ever forgetting compliance with GDPR regulations. As an extension, artificial intelligence will play an increasingly important role in real estate. We are going to integrate this aspect in a very practical way, in accordance with the spirit that characterizes the group. Take the example of our online candidate-tenant spaces. On this subject, we have already proposed to some of our clients to make it evolve to include more artificial intelligence. In this way, this space is no longer just a tool for returning scanned documents (payroll, etc.). It becomes a preselection device that can be predictive.
You are present in the four corners of France. Is territorial proximity important to you?
We are present in Lyon, Grenoble, Rennes, Annecy and Paris. This is explained in part by the history of several company acquisitions as part of our external growth policy. But it is not the only reason. A regional logic is also at stake. Lyon/Grenoble/Annecy is a regional hub where we find a large part of our clientele. The same applies to Rennes as a whole, made up of two companies, which is not insignificant, but Paris is also a great customer center and we also have Tissot there and an establishment that brings together consultants and sales representatives.
