You run the business school My Business School, within the My Ambition group dedicated to professional training. Today, the group has several entities with a common base…

Since its creation in 1996, our group has specialized in vocational training and job training. Our first business school was born in Marseille, then the training offer has expanded over the years, with the creation of 3 other campuses in Toulon, Aix-en-Provence and Fréjus, in the Var. In 2015, the Business School activity was renamed My BS (My Business School). The level of training has also improved, since today our business school issues diplomas ranging from BTS to Masters, in Bac + 5.

What are the specificities of My Business School?

Our 4 campuses have a total of one thousand students, 90% of whom have a learning contract with a company. The others follow a more traditional educational path. We also welcome adults in professional recycling. Our catalog of higher education courses is very broad: business, marketing, HR, management, law, administrative management, not to mention more specific courses such as digital programming and cybersecurity. All are certified and recognized by the State.

Our school has experienced strong growth in the last 3 years (about 25% per year). In fact, the reform of vocational training has boosted the activity, by allowing more training organizations to see the light, but also by encouraging companies to choose work-study, thanks to financial aid.

Given this multiple offer, how does your school stand out?

Already with a more than satisfactory professional integration rate: 7 out of 10 graduates already have an employer at the end of their studies! This may be the company where the student completed their work-study program or another employer. Our students can also choose to embark on entrepreneurship and we support them in this.

Beyond this aspect, it is essential to “seduce” young people thanks to an attractive and pleasant study environment, educational innovations such as virtual reality and quality teaching. Our campuses are designed to best meet student expectations, often located in or near the city center to facilitate extracurricular life. The alumni network remains very active, which allows us to follow our students as they leave school.

Finally, we work closely with more than 1,500 companies, including large international groups, capable of hiring around twenty students at a time, such as Leroy Merlin, Castorama, etc. A student who is not satisfied with their study and work program will have no difficulty finding another company, so it is essential that our partners are reliable and committed. Ensuring on our part the seriousness and motivation of our students. Hence the creation of My After School.

What is it about ?

My After School is an additional service that allows us to place our students with our partners. This is a true added value for the young person, because we support him in his search for his first job. At the same time, we facilitate the hiring of companies. We also operate as a headhunter, capable of recruiting the best candidate on the market, outside of our student pool.

What are the advantages of alternation?

The alternation prepares for the world of work. When our students reach the market, they are already seasoned, they benefit from several years of experience, they know how to pass a job interview, negotiate a salary, etc. Undeniable advantages over other candidates, and it is because we are convinced of this that we also train employees through our branch, My business training. It is a continuing vocational training organization for all active and inactive people seeking employment or in professional transition. We work with companies or directly with an employee who wishes to acquire new skills. Teaching is done face-to-face, remotely or both (blended), according to demand. The training catalog comes from our business school. Our offers are accessible thanks to the CPF (professional training account) but also within the framework of company training budgets.

The group has also launched a talent incubator…

My Business factory is our latest! It is an incubator for our young talents, who want to create their own business or have already done so. Currently installed on the Aix-en-Provence and Fréjus campuses, these spaces welcome incubators with the necessary material environment: IT, printing, distribution… Our experts provide legal and administrative services (management, HR… ) and for everything related to marketing, digital development, etc. This incubator will soon be installed on our Marseille and Toulon campuses.

Always with a view to development, the group bought a fashion school in Marseille…

It is a renowned fashion institute, created in 1961 under the name of IICC Mode (International Institute of Creation and Couture) in Marseille. The My Ambition group joined the school in 2021, renamed it My fashion School and since this year, around fifty students have been trained in fashion design. My Fashion School offers a two-year training, either in a classic school curriculum or in an apprenticeship. We issue our own professional level 5 “Fashion Stylist” certification, which is a source of great pride! Students can also benefit from the My BS network and, if they wish, continue their higher education in luxury entrepreneurship and marketing.

Without kidding about the work of our energetic “Innovation and Intrapreneurship” service, future projects will focus on the learning experience within Campuses, innovative professions, inclusive and current teaching methods… in order to attract the as many people as possible. better meet the expectations of the labor market. Otherwise, on the side of external growth, we do not forbid ourselves anything…
