The mobilization against the pension reform continues at the SNCF. However, train traffic “will improve significantly” on Monday, but “will remain disrupted on certain lines,” according to forecasts by the railway company.
Specifically, 3 out of 5 TGVs will circulate as planned, with disparities depending on the axis. It counts like this:
• north axis: 3 trains of 5
• east axis: more than 2 out of 3 trains
• atlantic axis: more than 2 out of 3 trains
• southeast axis: 1 out of every 2 trains
• ouigo: 3 trains of 4
• province to province: 1 in 4 trains
One in 2 TER, one in 3 Intercités
SNCF also has one in two TERs running on Monday and one in three Intercity trains, but none at night.
Finally, on international routes, Eurostar and Thalys traffic will be “almost normal”. On the other hand, count 2 trains of 3 on the France-Italy links, 4 trains of 5 on the France-German links, 1 train of 2 on the France-Switzerland links and no train on the France-Spain links.
“Travellers who can are invited to cancel or postpone their trips and favor teleworking,” stresses the SNCF in its press release.
