Alterations in Marseille this Monday
Thus, it is expected that flight cancellations for this new day of interprofessional mobilization will be less than last week, when they affected, in addition to Orly and Roissy, regional airports, and affected up to 30% of aircraft movements.
On Monday, although the DGAC did not request preventive reductions in flight schedules, unlike the previous six days, air traffic was disrupted, particularly at the Marseille-Provence airport, due to a work stoppage by controllers .
The situation also deteriorated in the airspace around Basel-Mulhouse airport on Monday, with “significant delays,” according to pan-European air surveillance agency Eurocontrol.
From Tuesday until last Friday, the DGAC had asked airlines to cancel between 20 and 30% of their flights departing from various French airports, including the two main Parisian platforms of Orly and Roissy, and then 20%. on weekends, finally, in a reduced number. of facilities.
