After arousing anger in the street, if it is approved, will it be difficult to apply the pension reform in companies? Laurent Berger, general secretary of the CFDT, invited this Wednesday on BFMTV and RMC Teme.
“We have a pension reform that, contrary to what it should have been, that is, based on work and the reality of the workers, was based on a purely budgetary logic”, declared Laurent Berger calling on MEPs to look “what is happening in society and in the world of work”.
According to the union leader, “business leaders” and “DDH” are concerned about the “consequences of the implementation” of the reform, which goes to a joint commission on Wednesday.
In addition, there are also “people in charge of social accounts who fear that this postponement of the age will have a concrete consequence on unemployment insurance but also on the disability fund because people will not be able to reach the end of their career,” he added.
“They are normal people”
“Look at those who, in their constituencies, with demonstrations or with words, question this reform. They are normal people”, Laurent Berger advanced, addressing the parliamentarians who will soon have to decide on this issue, unless 49.3 is drawn by the Government.
This pension reform “does not concern the” real France “because it does not resonate” with “what workers live every day,” said the CFDT leader.
