The day after a day of demonstrations against the violently enameled pension reform, Emmanuel Macron said he was “at the disposal of the inter-union” to “advance” on issues such as “professional clothing, end of career, retraining, career development, conditions of work, remuneration in certain branches…”.
“We will wait for the decision of the Constitutional Council”
Regarding the pension reform, “it is in the Constitutional Council and it is clear that we are going to wait for the decision of the Constitutional Council,” he added. But “the country cannot stand still”, “we are moving forward”, the head of state also declared.
Emmanuel Macron also wanted to “thank Laurent Berger for his spirit of responsibility, his desire for appeasement” which he said “to share”.
