Training resources adapted to energy rehabilitation
To ensure the energy rehabilitation of existing buildings with quality and optimizing energy performance, there is no possibility: it is necessary to have well-trained professionals. That is why FEEBAT has launched unique, innovative and educational training resources on energy renovation, aimed at both secondary school teachers and OFA-CFA trainers (Training Organizations through Learning – Apprentice Training Center).
These tools are varied. They are technicians, with files on energy rehabilitation projects for buildings representative of the French park or execution guides. They are also educational and include activity supports, “know how” sheets, and answer keys. They also allow monitoring of the acquisition of skills, thanks to scorecards or assessment or self-assessment materials. These resources aim to give teachers and trainers the right tools for energy renewal. The modules “energy renovation challenges” and “energy renovation principles” were tested on a large scale with students, teachers and trainers. You are now spread out with the latter so that you can use them in your teaching. More than 10 of the 18 academies have already made large-scale commitments to publicize and deploy the resources that FEEBAT offers. The first 27 secondary school teachers and CFA trainers thus participated in two sessions to learn these two modules at the Dijon and Besançon academies at the end of 2022. Since then, this type of session has multiplied.
Two other modules are currently being designed, one on the diagnosis of energy rehabilitation and the other on the design of rehabilitation work programs. These were tested with Bac Pro and BTS students, whose particularly positive feedback can be found on the FEEBAT LinkedIn account.
Common Resources for Future Operations Professionals
FEEBAT has launched these resources with all the actors involved, whether they are representatives of public administrations, Ademe, but also from the world of vocational training for young people (representatives of academies, inspectors, teachers, trainers), training technicians and engineers . and digital service providers. Innovative educational activities have been designed. Students have access to augmented reality, 360° immersion and even interactive games. Intuitive discovery and learning processes and activities related to the professional environment are also offered. A different way of teaching the high-risk topic of energy rehabilitation to future construction professionals. The trainers themselves have been trained to deploy these resources on a large scale and make them available to teachers and trainers. For the first time at the scale of metropolitan territory and overseas, the FEEBAT offer will allow pupils, apprentices and students to access resources that will constitute a common base on the subject of energy renewal. This common knowledge will give them the opportunity to integrate energy efficiency into their future profession and into their energy renovation practice. Thus, they will be operational in a context where the environment and energy sobriety are two of the great challenges of tomorrow.
These resources are part of a complete training program in energy rehabilitation that was also recently recognized during the presentation of the Digital Learning Trophies 2023. Winner in the category Blended Learning and Accompanimentthe Ministry of National Education and Youth and the CCCA-BTP were awarded for their work in training young people within the framework of FEEBAT.
