Introduce us to Yanoli, what are your products?
Jerome Hoerth: Yanoli is a young company, created by Laura, Helena and myself, each with almost 20 years of experience in direct sales. Having worked for Asian or American parent companies, we saw the lack of understanding of non-European companies in the European market, and especially the French one, which is changing rapidly in terms of figures. That is why we wanted to create our own company, with our values: an ecosystem with a modern business model, offering an act of digital purchase and respecting the ethical codes of direct sales. We currently have over 2,000 independent sellers across Europe, including 400 in France.
Laura Lipinsky: Our products are focused on well-being. Its goal is to improve the quality of life by helping the body use what it already has. The idea is to take care of your body to stay healthy. It was important to me to offer products with real added value, at affordable prices.
Has digital become a strong trend in direct sales?
JH: Today, digital has more and more its footprint in direct sales. When a product works, we are able to present it both in person and through social networks. Following the seller’s recommendation to the customer, the customer can buy directly on the site and benefit from payment solutions such as credit cards.
How do you help people gain their independence and develop their earning power?
LL: We give people the opportunity, from home or through the Internet, to generate income by recommending our products around them or creating networks, that is, helping other people to do the same. This can constitute an additional income of a few hundred euros or even a greater income of several thousand.
JH: Purchasing power is at the center of current concerns. With Yanoli, people can undertake without risk, because they don’t have to spend money on equipment to begin with. For a symbolic euro, they become Yanoli partners and benefit from our commercial support, where experienced people train them to understand the product, the economic model and the ecosystem. We also offer them legal and fiscal support, to relieve them of the administrative burden associated with being self-employed.
LL: We want to launch the concept of relational entrepreneurship, beyond direct sales or relational marketing, to help people become true entrepreneurs, accompanying them in the domain of social networks, but also in possible investments.
