Alpi, software and services for the design of electrical installations

European leader in software for the calculation and automated sizing of electrical installations, Alpi supports its clients through solutions designed to cover all the needs of the electrical sector. The company now aims to increase its international presence.

Supporting all the players in the electricity sector in the design, construction and verification of their facilities, in France and in the rest of Europe, this has been Alpi’s mission for more than 30 years. It continues to be a privileged partner for its clients, design offices, installers, contracting authorities or inspection bodies. For this, Alpi has developed the Caneco ONE suite that allows them to create, cost and verify their installations. It includes a set of software that is interconnected to design the different facilities and infrastructure networks in a digital model. “The goal is to bring productivity in a digital environment to our installer customers” explains Rodolphe Héliot, general director of Alpi. “We do not operate in an isolated electrical universe, but rather we are integrated with the rest of the building sectors”.

Alpi supports its customers by offering additional services including training, technical assistance and electrical studies and commercial assistance services. His experience is also based on a perfect mastery of installation standards and their evolution.

The integration of renewable energies

Converted into a priority issue in recent years, the integration of renewable energy in electrical installations is a real challenge for all players in the sector. “We have clearly understood that the challenges of sustainable development are important and therefore we must be able to understand the needs of our customers today, but also in the years to come. We are proactive on these issues in the different ranges we offer” says Rodolfo Heliot. A necessity to face increasingly important challenges.

Already widely present throughout Europe, Alpi now wants to extend its action to other international markets taking into account the changes in standards according to the country and developing a network of operators capable of supporting customers on the spot. For this, Alpi can count on the experience of the rest of the companies that make up the Schneider Electric group and of which Alpi has been a part since 2019. In this context, the company also seeks to incorporate different profiles to achieve its objectives. goals
