Starting tomorrow at 6 am, it will be possible to estimate the consequences of the pension reform on your retirement age or the amount of your pension. The official simulator available on the Info-retraite site will be updated this Monday, June 12, a few days later than the initial goal.
The Retirement Union, a public interest group (PIG) that brings together all mandatory retirement organizations and operates this official simulator, says it is ready to secure a high volume of connections. While the site had around a million monthly connections last year, that is double what is observed today: last January, at the beginning of the social movement, the site had even reached 4 million monthly connections.
Through the retirement account
This simulator, accessible through your retirement account, allows you to know your retirement age, your number of quarters validated or the amount of your pension; these estimates are automatically calculated from the career information recorded by the pension plans. Until now, this tool did not take into account the changes made by the pension reform, being able to launch the update only after the final validation of the reform.
The main elements of the pension reform are now integrated into the simulator, such as the change in the retirement age, the extension of the contribution period, the new rules of the long-term regime, the revaluation of the minimum contribution or even the exit early in case of disability. But we’ll still have to wait until the fall to estimate a phased retirement.
