Portugal has four of the best Masters in Finance in the world. The ranking was drawn up by the Financial Times and Nova SBE consolidates its position in 11th place this year, confirming its leadership in Portugal and reaching 10th place in the ranking at European level. The second best Portuguese ranking belongs to Católica-Lisbon, which ranks 21st among the best in the world, followed by ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics & Management, which ranks 23rd, and ISCTE ranks 45th. .
The Financial Times Masters in Finance Ranking 2023 analyzes and ranks the top 55 programs worldwide, assessing a range of parameters across three main areas: career development, diversity and international experience, research, and the school’s environmental footprint.
Although it has dropped from 17th to 21st this year, the Católica-Lisbon master’s program is the second best in the world in salary development for graduates, who see their average salary grow by 110% in the first three years after graduation . Only the HEC Paris program performed better, with an increase of 120%. The Portuguese business school also highlights that 97% of graduates find a job within three months of completing the program, making it the 17th best school in the world in terms of career advancement.
ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics & Management registered an increase of 11 positions in the ranking, from 34th to 23rd place, “in what represents the largest increase of all classified schools”, he points out. ISEG is part of a select group of 12 schools in the world – together with Nova SBE – where 100% of graduates find a job in less than three months.
