With the first trailer released to the public, we’ve now found out who could undoubtedly be named Crocodile’s greatest showman, voiced by pop sensational Shawn Mendes.
Thinking this story couldn’t have started if the Primm family (Constance Wu, Scoot McNairy and Winslow Fegley) hadn’t accidentally discovered young Lyle (Shawn Mendes) in his new apartment. Rented to the eccentric animator Héctor P. Valenti (Javier Bardem), Crocodile Lyle Lyle The main stage is ready to be used as a springboard for a new star. Provided, of course, that he can make humanity believe that his voice is more powerful than his bite.
As if a stellar cast that included Constance Wu, Scoot McNairy, Strange things’ With Brett Gelman and Javier Bardem was not enough to show off, Crocodile Lyle Lyle also includes music co-written by the greatest showman team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. You can even feel his signature energy in the short snippet that allows Shawn Mendes’ Lyle to split into a sack. If you ever have a song in your heart for this adorable reptile, now you know why.
With Sony’s latest family hit serving as one of the the great autumn films hit theaters good looking Crocodile Lyle Lyle drive by familiarizing yourself with your scale. It’s even more fun to see the actors and their interactions with a flight of CGI fantasy. There is something magical about seeing Javier Bardem, the man behind one of best bonding baddies of all time, serving as a protective father to a singing crocodile.
So far, we only have a limited window into the world of Crocodile Lyle Lyle, but the image is clear enough. Aiming for the kind of family fun that Sony previously offered through adaptations such as Stuart Little and the Pietro Coniglio series, families should take note of when the curtain should go up on Shawn Mendes’ Lyle. Although he may not have been cast as a potential prince at Sony Cinderella adaptation for Prime Video, Mendes seems to have found his rhythm.
If Benj Pasek and Justin Paul could draw Inspiration for Wolverine the greatest showman and churning out songs like “The Greatest Show”, who knows what our green friend might have stirred up in their collective mind? With a team like the one behind Crocodile Lyle Lyle Nothing stops them! Except, of course, the wait until the movie is released in theaters.
Audiences will see this film sing in theaters on October 7th. While we don’t know when the soundtrack will be available, we’re sure kids and music lovers alike will look forward to it, as the catchy nature of this music should be easily understood.
