The Marvel Cinematic Universe became dear to the public for a variety of reasons, but what many fans really enjoyed during The Infinity Saga were the off-screen interactions between the main cast of the Avengers. Sure, it was always exciting every time a new movie came out, but the press events that accompanied it were just as fun. During these interviews, the actors reflected on their experiences on this project and joked with each other. It’s been a while since we last saw the dynamic between the six OGs, although Chris Hemsworth reminded us of it with fond memories. And funny enough, the message seems to make him think of some kind of reunion.
During Twitter Chris Hemsworth came across a video from the ending of the Avengers press tour in 2019. The clip shows him with his co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo and Chris Evans singing “Hey Jude” by the Beatles. Fans who have faithfully watched behind-the-scenes moments among the stars will surely remember this. And if you’ve never seen it, do yourself a favor and check out Hemsworth’s retweeted video:
I thought we had this on the internet … but maybe it’s time to reform the band @ChrisEvans, @MarkRuffalo, @RobertDowneyJr thoughts? https://t.co/QnxLAXNIZFSeptember 26, 2022
Oh the memories. It’s hard to believe it’s already been three years since these four, along with Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner, shared screens together and embarked on a global press tour. They definitely had fun together and did fun things, from turning Infinity War into a bedtime story or playing Boggle in their spare time. I don’t know about you, but I really miss you together.
Chris Hemsworth’s retweet is pretty good, but it’s hard to miss his caption. I mean, is it time to reform the band? To be honest, the chances of such a thing happening in an MCU production are pretty slim right now. While Hemsworth’s Thor and Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner are still in the fold, Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark sacrificed himself at the end of ending of the Avengers. And Chris Evans’ Elder Steve Rogers delivered the Captain America’s Cloak to Sam Wilson by Anthony Mackie . However, I imagine anything is possible in the MCU, especially if the multiverse is involved.
Of course, on the other hand, the stars could reunite on a project unrelated to the MCU. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind seeing them all reunited for a comedy that sees a bunch of best friends reunite for the first time in years. It might sound like something on the nose, but it might still be fun. And again, any potential reunion doesn’t have to be tied to a production of any kind. The Avengers students could just take a vacation together and possibly share photos on social media for the rest of us.
I hope Chris Hemsworth can get in touch with his friends at some point in the near future, no matter if that ever happens. wonder movie coming soon . When you’ve had a unique experience like theirs, it’s only natural that you bond along the way. And that connection surely shone whenever they met on screen as Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
You can review the Avengers films by broadcasting them using a Disney + subscription . And, of course, check out the programming of upcoming movie to see what Chris Hemsworth and company. They work these days.
