Horror is gearing up to become a bigger part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Director Sam Raimi delivered samples of the genre earlier this summer to the Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madnessand looking forward to upcoming Marvel movies and upcoming Marvel TV shows, we see the upcoming arrival of vampires and witchcraft Spade Yes Agatha: Coven of Chaos. It’s an exciting time for MCU fans who like their narrative to be haunting, but the project that really sets the stage for the development of the franchise is that of director Michael Giacchino. werewolf at night.
The Disney + special will arrive on the streaming service next week and is an unprecedented offering in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Part of its design is that it introduces a new flavor to the existing canon, and co-executive producer Brian Gay told me recently that part of the project’s intent was to show fans another side of the well-established franchise. Says the director,
I think the fun of it all is that it starts and you say, ‘Oh, I know what MCU is. They are superheroes, aliens, alternate dimensions, different planets, space travel, etc. And then it was like, ‘Well, how about this little corner here? We detect and reveal that all along there have been monsters in the MCU for centuries. You haven’t seen them yet.
Written by Heather Quinn and Peter Cameron, werewolf at night It begins when a collection of monster hunters gathers to participate in a race to acquire the powerful relic known as Bloodstone. They are led through a maze to track down a dangerous creature, and the only weapons they can use are the ones they can find. What the group doesn’t know is that while they are hunting a beast, there is actually a beast among them.
The special presentation stars Gael Garcia Bernal, Laura Donnelly, Harriet Sansom Harris, and Kirk Thatcher (an MCU Easter egg for himself).

As for the future, Spade it won’t arrive until November 2023 e Agatha: Coven of Chaos is on the Marvel calendar for winter 2023/2024, but werewolf at night he is almost listening.
