The Children of anarchy The universe created by Kurt Sutter is still alive and thriving in the form of FX Maya MC, whose last season even brought Kim Coates back as the gorgeous Tig Trager. But for some fans, no high-octane spin-off could replace its predecessor, who more or less died with his main character, Jax Teller, played by Charlie Hunnam’s adored macho fans. At this point, many SOA fans have given up on the idea of Hunnam taking Jax back for any kind of longtime comeback, and even the idea of a Maya the cameo didn’t seem so likely. But now the actor has posted an update suggesting that we may one day see the former SAMCRO president.
Although nothing has solidified yet, Hunnam has spoken Access to Hollywood on his next play Shantaram for Apple TV +, and when Jax Teller popped up, he surprisingly replied:
Since you asked me, I have an idea I’m exploring in its early stages where that might be a possibility. That would be something I’d be very excited about, which is why, as I said, we’re at the beginning of exploring the feasibility of the idea. But next time I speak to you, I hope to have more information about it.
As unpredictable as such an outcome may seem, the fact that the news came directly from Charlie Hunnam himself is enormous, after years of responses that made it clear that he had no intention of reprising the role. Not that the boy didn’t play many other projects in the meantime not even to occupy it. So it makes sense that previously he wouldn’t have seemed thrilled to deliver Jax’s kutte without a logical plan to apply that idea to.
But what could it be? Considering that Hunnam used the word “childhood”, could it have been an involuntary nod to the idea that Jax will remain a child for this particular project’s timeline? It could be a revised version of the first 9 prequels idea Kurt Sutter talked about earlier, or something completely different? As excited as I’m already thinking about options, it’s worth considering that this may not be a direct-to-television project and may be a reference to a Children of anarchy video game, podcast or something like that.
Although it may seem Maya MC This would be the perfect place for Jax to make another appearance, given his first season with Katey Sagal reprising Gemma Teller. But the spinoff doesn’t exactly treat Jax with much respect, going so far as to say the words “Fuck Jax Teller” towards the universe.
Hunnam has already caused a lot Children of anarchy fervor recently thanks to Shantaramwho presented a first image of the actor riding a motorcycle , even if it is by no means in the same phase of the biker saga. Based on the 2003 novel by author Gregory David Roberts, the drama centers on the actor as a bank robber who escapes the blockade and flees to India, where he falls in love with a woman who tries to keep his crimes a secret. .
While you wait to see if anything happens with this idea, check out a many other great FX dramas it’s worth it, and head to our Program of the first TV 2022 to see everything else coming to the small screen in the coming months, including Apple TV + Shantaram.
