Big Brother’s Monte Taylor opens up about the sacrifices that come with being on the show and whether he’ll ever perform again

In previous seasons, Older brother Monte Taylor, 24, would easily have had what it takes to win last night, but this season has been unlike any other. Despite a higher win tally in the competition total, Monte found himself in second place after a great all-time final speech from his opponent in Final Two, and former showman , Taylor Halle. Now, after what he must have thought was a pre-vote victory, Monte has revealed his thoughts on a possible return Older brother in the future, and the sacrifices required to play this game.

After his second place in the calamitous Older brother In season 24, Gossipify had a chance to speak with Monte, who was one of the few HOH Finale winners to lose after picking his Houseguest to face. To that end, I asked him if he had ever considered a comeback career, and Monte gave a straightforward and honest answer, pointing out what he had been missing in life after engaging in a show like Older brother:

I’m not going to lie, it’s hard to say yes right now, right after this experience. It’s a lot. It is hard enough to feel, or even feel, that the reality is that you are wasting time with your family. You waste time away from the business ventures you manage. Even just personal development stuff. I really missed the gym.

Monte Taylor spent 82 days in the Older brother at home, which leaves plenty of time to disconnect from all life’s commitments. Viewers can take for granted even simple things that customers don’t have access to, like a fully functional gym. It looks like he spent the days after the final taking stock of how much he lost, which is definitely worth keeping in mind when considering starting over.

Before the fans count one Older brother on the return of the season, however, Monte offered a little more perspective on his position by giving him a second try. The host of season 24 revealed that he may be ready to move on and shared some thoughts behind his desire to do so:

I think over time I may be convinced, especially with how things turned out. I would like to see in different circumstances and with a different thought process how I could do it. So, I’m pretty open, man. We will never know

Older brother Season 24 hasn’t ended in that long, so Monte is understandably hesitant. Season 23 host Azah Awasum told Gossipify that she I didn’t enjoy playing after the end of Final Three; but despite this participation, he still participated The challenge next year. Playing Older brother it’s an overwhelming experience, especially with the litany of things that happened during season 24: my favorite was the vomiting incident – so it’s easy to see why Monte might not be eager to go home and broadcast it live for everyone to read. It still looks like the best option for a returnee in a future season, so we’ll see if it’s time to come back.

Older brother Season 24 is over. on CBS (opens in a new tab), but viewers can always go back and gorge on a Paramount + subscription while they wait for season 25, as well as anything else that may come first. I know I have a heart to see Janelle Pierzina and Rachel Reilly in a season of legends but who knows if it will ever happen.
