Should NCIS fans be worried about a major character after his injury?

Attention! The following contains spoilers for the NCIS episode “Dig Out”. Read at your own risk!

NCIS faced another big mystery this week, and sadly, the perpetrator of a heinous crime managed to hold two members of the same department hostage. Laura San Giacomothis is grace doctor Yes Wilmer Valderramathis is Nick Torres they were taken by thieves looking for gold, and one came out a little worn out. After the episode, Nick was sporting a bad gunshot wound and a sling, but should fans be worried about him?

It’s only natural that fans are worried about everything that’s been going on with Nick lately. Especially with Wilmer Valderrama’s growing to-do list outside of NCIS like those of disney Fox there are those who wonder if theirs days are limited on the cbs series . With the post in mind, let’s break down how Torres got injured and how fans should feel about his status on the show in the future.

How Nick got hurt

Nick and Dr. Grace were locked up by two scammers who believed the therapist had information about their former partner helping them smuggle gold they no longer knew where. Grace denied knowing anything, and although one of the criminals believed her, her boss didn’t know. She fired a pistol directly into Torres’ arm and denied him any medical assistance until Grace agreed to help them.

The NCIS The team eventually rescued Torres and arrested the criminals, but at a cost. Torres met Grace later that night in her office and she was wearing a scarf that would surely affect her ability to perform on the pitch. In all fairness, it looked a lot better than the initial gunshot wound, but enough to keep Nick out of action for a while.

Why fans shouldn’t worry about Nick’s injury

Nick Torres is a tough guy, or at least NCIS wrote to be. He revealed that he should only have spent two weeks on his neck, after which he will return to solving crimes and fighting with the rest of the team. The viewer can assume that we won’t see Torres doing much in the next couple of weeks, but it actually looks like he’ll be on the pitch in the next episode. Check out the “Leave No Trace” trailer, which briefly shows Torres a few times and even walks with his gun unsheathed and no slingshot:

It looks like Torres will be able to join the NCIS team when they travel to a national park to track down a suspected serial killer. I guess it’s no surprise that Nick was able to recover so quickly, especially considering how well he recovered from some of his problems. more serious injuries in the old days. (The actor isn’t always able to do this recover so quickly .) It might not be quite realistic, but at least we don’t have to worry about it NCIS releasing Wilmer Valderrama this week.

NCIS aired on CBS (opens in a new tab) Mondays at 9 p.m. ET and viewers can catch up on the season with a Paramount + subscription . Now is the perfect time to catch up on all the shows in the franchise big crossover event it is in preparation that it will integrate the three shows.
