“He talks about a lot of things that are very sad and we don’t have any impression,” the singer says into a BFMTV microphone.
“C’est vraiment le bilan de tout ce qui ne va pas. , de tout. Et après, ça fait cette sorte de grand écart, où ça cherche à pardonner et fêter la vie, à metaboliser la vie. go out.”

The single, presented this Friday morning, will be accompanied by a clip, released in the afternoon. An energetic clip, filmed in one take, during a concert at the Francofolies de Spa in Belgium, with more than 10,000 people.
This is the first time Mika has acted. This is life on stage. The sequence, originally shot for social networks, thus became the song’s music video.
The album, entirely in French, will be a very personal album. Mika will talk about her mother, to whom he was very close and who disappeared in 2021, but also about her partner, with whom he has shared her life for many years.
“I’ve never talked about him in a song, and here I make it very clear,” he explains. “I make fun of him in the song, because he doesn’t speak too much French and when he comes here, everyone speaks to me in French, I speak in French and then he feels completely isolated, that makes him feel bad. Don’t worry. This song is about the jealousy he has for France.”
French, a “bubble”
Of this album, Mika says that it allowed her to “reconnect.” “It’s the album that unlocked me, that gave me the chance to reconnect with my own colors, without diluting them, without being afraid to express myself with total freedom.”
Writing in French has also helped her “break free”. “It’s easier to write in English. But there I felt a little protected by the language. I felt like I was entering a bubble where I was protected.”
To him, it was “out of the question” to sing someone else’s lyrics. Therefore, he wrote or co-wrote all the songs on the album, which is currently “in the final stages of mixing”, and whose writing “is finished”.
