Retirement won’t come soon for Hayao Miyazaki. The 82-year-old director, who announces that he wants to stop acting with each new film since the release of Princess Mononoke in 1997, he was already thinking about his next film.
Junichi Nishioka, vice president of Ghibli, indicated this Thursday night during the preview of the boy and the heron at the Toronto festival. According to him, the director is already coming to the studio with new ideas. He did not specify whether these were ideas for a short or a feature film.
HE boy and the heronwhich will be released in French cinemas on November 1, follows the adventures of a young man, Mahito, during World War II in Japan.
