“Scary experience”: Michel Polnareff claims to have experienced the Moroccan earthquake “live”

The French singer was in Morocco during the serious earthquake that shook the south of Marrakech during the night from Friday to Saturday and left more than 2,000 dead.

Two days after the deadly earthquake that shook the Marrakech region overnight from Friday to Saturday, Michel Polnareff confided on Twitter that he had experienced this earthquake “live” from Morocco.

Although he did not specify the reasons for his presence in the country, the French singer wanted to express his support for Moroccans. “An immense sadness invades me. Morocco is an integral part of my life and I directly experienced this painful episode,” said the artist on social networks.

“He experienced fear and it was the earth that shook… This earthquake hit a country rightly known for its benevolence and sense of hospitality. Long live Morocco,” he added.

In addition to Michel Polnareff, other personalities such as the actress and comedian Camille Lellouche were present during the earthquake. “I’m fine and so is my family. Last night was a nightmare night and the worst of my life. So there are very few things on earth,” she wrote on Instagram.

“The house was moving in all directions, the dishes, what was hanging on the wall, everything fell to the floor,” confided Ayem Nour, presenter and former reality TV candidate on BFMTV.

Since this earthquake, whose death toll is currently estimated at 2,122 dead and 2,421 injured according to the Ministry of the Interior, several personalities, such as Gad Elmaleh, Jamel Debbouze and Booder, have mobilized to help the victims. Presenter Arthur also announced the filming of a support clip in which many celebrities are expected.
